There are a growing number of reports throughout the web of Google Ads accounts supervisors threatening to contact clients directly, in spite of not being enabled to.
According to the reports, companies who don’t react to e-mails from Google Ads account supervisors are being met with hazards from Google reps to call clients directly.
Sometimes, the Google Advertisements account managers call clients and inform them to drop their companies.
There are two things to make clear here:
- Agencies are not needed to speak with Google representatives
- At no point needs to a Google Advertisements account supervisor call a company’s client

Nevertheless, these reports are becoming more regular.

Throughout October, reports circulated on Reddit of Google associates taking part in comparable practices. One Reddit user published a screenshot of an email received by a Google Ads Account
Strategist, which checks out: “I am writing to you one last time as a courtesy, since my honest goal is to offer you
value and sophisticated methods with google advertisements and deal with you closely, to assist you conserve time and make your clients more effective with google ads, therefore I am calling you for the last time to inform you that if I do not reach you, I will presume that you are not getting my e-mails and will get in touch with the clients that I have been appointed directly.”Another Reddit user has nearly the exact same story, saying they
‘ve been “bugged”with everyday emails from a Google Ads rep to get on a call and implement project modifications. Once again, firms aren’t bound to consult with Google representatives or carry out changes clients aren’t requesting. Should you receive an email like the one above, the best thing to do is submit a problem through
Google’s official form. Be careful of these aggressive sales strategies. As long as you’re not breaking any policies, Google has no say over
